Mapping the independant music of Belgium between 1978 and today
In the form of an imaginary map, Belgium Underground offers a journey through the underground belgian music scene starting from the days of punk and unfolding till today. The originality of the project lies in making it visible how the multitude of interconnected stories has built the reality and depth of a musical and artistic field. A big jump into the past and a look at the present that are both playful and rich in discoveries. The project will highlight this universe through a transversal reading exploring various artistic disciplines such as litterature, music, graphic design, etc.
